KinkyCon Wicked Weekend 2026: A First-Timer's Guide to New Hampshire's Kink Education Weekend
KinkyCon Wicked Weekend 2026 runs from Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Nashua, according to the organizers' event page and venue page. If you're scanning kink events in New Hampshire, here's how they describe theirs: a grassroots weekend that started in a small room at UNH in 2009 and now counts 600+ people, with over 80 classes and almost 30 vendors (their own figures, checked Oct 10, 2026). The homepage puts the age at 18+.
The honest part first. SparkChambers has no tie to KinkyCon, we haven't attended, and nobody paid us. The event details below come from the organizers' own pages as they read on October 10, 2026, and a few are mid-update.
What actually happens at KinkyCon all weekend?
Classes lead the organizers' own list. The schedule page sorts sessions into tracks such as Rope, Bondage & Restraint, Dynamics & Relationships and Mind, Health & Wellbeing, with several more beyond those. The FAQ adds socials, special interest groups, vending and "a fully equipped dungeon."
A dungeon on that list can sound daunting for a first visit. It doesn't have to be. Consent guidelines from Pink Therapy, The Summer House Weekend and Kinky Salon London (2015) say it plainly: "It's always okay to do nothing. It's fine to be at an event and not play." For a first con, we'd call that the smarter plan. Safewords are worth learning before you go, too.
Cost and access
Beyond the $299 full ticket, the FAQ lists a $199 volunteer ticket that comes with one two-hour shift, plus a scholarship covering the full weekend at no cost. Single-day passes are promised closer to the date, in limited numbers (as listed Oct 10, 2026).
Rooms are the catch. Sort a bed before you book flights.
Dress code by zone
The hotel is shared. The FAQ says restaurant, spa and fitness club patrons may be in the public spaces, so the official dress code changes by area:
| Where you are | Minimum |
|---|---|
| Hotel public spaces, elevators | "Family Friendly": collars are fine; rope, fetish gear, toys and leashes are not |
| Ballroom, vending, classrooms | "Street Legal": the page spells out the minimum coverage |
| Night parties | More relaxed, with a stated minimum |
| Leaving a party | "Street Legal" again |
The page's own collar test: "If you wear your collar to the mall, feel free to wear it here!" Still unsure? It suggests a long coat or cape.
Phones and photos
No photography and no recording, says the phone and device policy. Devices stay silent and out of sight in classes and play spaces; hallways are fine. The page header reads "BEING UPDATED FOR 2026," so give it a second look the week before.
Etiquette for your first kink convention
The Code of Conduct sums up consent in three short sentences: "Ask for a clear yes. Accept a clear no. Silence, hesitation, being drunk, being high, or being uncertain is not a yes." Our guides to enthusiastic consent in kink and BDSM play party etiquette go deeper on asking first.
Going solo? The FAQ's advice is low-tech: "say hello to the folks next to you in classes!"
If something feels wrong
The Code of Conduct says to find any staff member in a red or purple shirt, or stop by Registration, where someone can radio the right person. It also lists an email address for written reports. The FAQ adds a support phone line and a peer support team during the event. Our piece on what to do when a boundary gets crossed covers the time after.
Re-read the official KinkyCon pages in early November. Then let day one be about listening.
